Nimonic 80A (UNS N07080)A nickel-chromium alloy similar to NIMONICalloy 75 but made precipitation hardenable byadditions of aluminum and titanium. The alloyhas good corrosion and oxidation resistanceand high tensile and creep-rupture propertiesat temperatures to 1500°F (815°C). Used for gasturbinecomponents (blades, rings, and discs),bolts, tube supports in nuclear steam generators,die-casting inserts and cores, and exhaust valvesin internal-combustion engines.
